Medical Facility Improvements & Repairs

Supporting the buildings and essential systems behind patient care.

Our history with healthcare facilities

Nearly 18 Years Alongside Medical Facilities

Behind every medical facility is a team working to care for people. Behind that team, the building and its essential systems need attention, maintenance and dependable service.

For nearly 18 years, PRT Cool Service Inc. has supported medical facilities with emergency service, mechanical and air conditioning work, plumbing, construction repairs and improvement projects.

Our history began when many of these facilities operated under Preferred Care Partners. Over the years, our work has continued through their growth and transitions involving WellMed, Optum and UnitedHealthcare.

During that time, we have responded to urgent service needs, maintained equipment, completed repairs and carried out improvement projects in Miami-Dade, Broward, Naples, Tampa and other Florida locations.

Communication and coordination

Working Around an Active Facility

Medical facilities have operating schedules, controlled access, occupied spaces and site procedures that must be considered before service or construction begins.

Our project discussion includes affected areas, authorized contacts, access arrangements, work-hour restrictions and any planned interruptions to building services.

Requirements for work-area separation, dust control, cleanup and staff coordination are reviewed with the responsible facility team. Specialized requirements are identified during planning and addressed in the agreed scope.

Whether the request is a single repair or a larger improvement, clear communication helps everyone understand what will happen and who is responsible.

From the First Call to Completion

  1. Receive the facility request.

Share the facility name, address, applicable work order, site contact and a description of the concern.

  2. Confirm access and priority.

We review operating conditions, affected areas, authorization requirements and availability.

  3. Evaluate and communicate findings.

The team reviews the condition and explains the proposed next steps and any additional evaluation needed.

  4. Define and authorize the work.

Work proceeds within the approved scope, with changes communicated before additional work is performed.

  5. Review completion and documentation.

We review the agreed work and applicable completion details with the authorized contact.

Our connection to care

Compassion Beyond the Building

Years of working alongside medical facility teams have reinforced our appreciation for the people who care for our communities.

That commitment also has a personal meaning for our family. Tatiana, a co-founder of PRT Cool Service Inc. and a pancreatic cancer survivor, brings a deeply personal perspective to the mission of PRT Women’s Hope Foundation Inc.

The foundation is developing initiatives centered on compassion, support for women and families, and awareness of pancreatic and breast cancer.
